PRESENTATION OF ACTION REPORT TO THE PIONEER JUPEB REGISTRAR
Through EDU WATCH OF NIGERIA (EWON)
The Education Information Society of Nigeria, in collaboration with EDU WATCH OF NIGERIA (EWON), presented an action report to the Pioneer Registrar of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) as part of efforts to strengthen transparency, accountability, and educational development within the JUPEB programme.
The meeting focused on important observations, monitoring activities, and recommendations concerning tutorial centres, student management, registration processes, and the overall administration of the JUPEB programme across Nigeria.
Undercover Monitoring and Investigation
As part of its commitment to quality assurance and educational integrity, EDU WATCH OF NIGERIA (EWON) carried out undercover monitoring activities to identify challenges affecting students and tutorial operations.
The undercover exercise aimed to:
Monitor the activities of tutorial centres.
Identify irregularities affecting students and candidates.
Promote transparency and accountability.
Protect the image and credibility of JUPEB.
Improve coordination between facilitators and management.
Recommend digital and administrative reforms.
The action report submitted to the Pioneer JUPEB Registrar highlighted practical solutions and recommendations to improve the system for the benefit of students, facilitators, and affiliated institutions.
