Proposal for the Upgrade of JUPEB Registration from Manual to Digital System
The Education Information Society of Nigeria submitted a proposal for the modernization and upgrade of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) registration process from manual operations to a digital registration system.
The initiative was designed to improve transparency, efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility in the JUPEB admission and registration process across tutorial centres and affiliated institutions in Nigeria.
The society also advised the JUPEB Registrar on the need to recognize all tutorial operators as facilitators contributing to the growth and development of the JUPEB programme, while maintaining proper academic standards and discipline within tutorial centres.
Key Objectives of the Proposal
Upgrade JUPEB registration from manual to digital processing.
Improve record keeping and registration accuracy.
Reduce errors, delays, and administrative challenges.
Enhance transparency and monitoring of tutorial centres.
Strengthen coordination between facilitators and JUPEB management.
Promote quality educational services for students.
