𝗡𝗬𝗦𝗖 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝟮𝟱𝗧𝗛 𝗠𝗔𝗬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Good morning and welcome to another edition of NYSC Recap with Local Man. Here are the highlights from activities in the NYSC space within the past week. Disclaimer: This is based on personal research and analysis. Treat it as you will. 👉 The 2025 Batch A Stream II corps members passed out on Thursday, 21st May after completing their one-year national service. The DG urged them to uphold the ideals of the Scheme and ensure their conduct continues to reflect honour and integrity. 👉 Moving on to the next set, NYSC announced that the 2026 Batch B Stream I orientation course will hold across the 37 orientation camps from 10th to 30th June, 2026. 👉 In preparation for camp, call-up numbers have been released to some PCMs while many others are yet to receive theirs or unable to access their dashboards. Since call-up numbers are usually released in tranches, affected PCMs are advised to keep checking. 👉 In what came as a disappointment to unregistered graduates, the NYSC portal will not open for online registration this batch due to the backlog from registrations received in March and April. 👉 Foreign-trained graduates who have completed online registration but are yet to be screened will have their physical verification exercise between 2nd – 4th June, 2026. 👉 NYSC has also announced that, going forward, only graduates who are NERD compliant will be registered at the orientation camp. This feature has now been integrated into PCM dashboards, with statuses currently showing “Pending”, “Partial”, or “Failed”, although this will likely update to “Successful” after documentation in camp. 👉 That wraps up this edition.
