📢 EDUCATION INFORMATION SOCIETY OF NIGERIA ON JUPEB PARTNERSHIP AND TUTORIAL SYSTEM
According to the Education Information Society of Nigeria, we have maintained partnership discussions with JUPEB regarding security, restructuring, and the participation of tutorials within the JUPEB system.
We strongly believe that Nigerian tutorials and tutors participating in JUPEB are educational facilitators because JUPEB contributes greatly in two major areas:
✅ Providing alternative admission opportunities for Nigerian students.
✅ Creating educational and employment opportunities for stakeholders within the education sector.
Tutorial centres have continued to support students academically and serve as facilitators for institutions, but they are not examination centres and should not operate outside approved regulations.
The Society also acknowledged that some irregular activities and unethical practices have existed within parts of the system, and efforts have continued toward eliminating every form of malpractice, illegal tutorial operation, and so-called “miracle centres.”
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
JUPEB will never support or entertain fraudulent activities in the name of tutorials or miracle centres.
The ongoing discussions on regularisation and restructuring are aimed at strengthening the credibility and integrity of the JUPEB programme nationwide.
The Education Information Society of Nigeria further commended the present JUPEB Registrar for his peaceful leadership, educational commitment, and fatherly role toward national educational development.
Special remembrance was also made of the 2018 partnership discussions involving Professor DURO AJEYALEMI (PIONEER REGISTRAR).
May his soul continue to rest in peace.
The Society encourages continued collaboration between tutorials, universities, and educational stakeholders to improve innovation, strengthen educational access, and support both public and private universities across Nigeria.
