Professor Segun Aina has been appointed as the Registrar-designate of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
At 39 years old, he becomes JAMB’s youngest Registrar and one of Nigeria’s youngest Professors of Computer Engineering, having previously served as a Professor at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
His background reflects a blend of academia, technology, and public administration.
Current Appointment:
He was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead JAMB, succeeding Professor Is-haq Oloyede.

Professor Aina is a Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University. He holds advanced academic qualifications and has served as a consultant to examination bodies including NECO and NABTEB.
